I'll overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.

Former two time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
